I'm by no means the best photographer in Second Life, but I hope that this will do justice the amazing skin and range of clothing that Muism provide for the male and female patrons in-world.
I first discovered Muism about four months ago, just as they took a permanent spot on the front page of the SL search engine, and I haven't looked back since. I fell completely in love with their 'Chloe' skin and shape, all of which the models are wearing in the picture. My normal avatar, Aribeth, and model Brogan have had their shapes altered slightly for different effects, but you can see from Nya's picture (centre) of the original shape that it truely is a radient piece of work.
The skin and shape alone got so many compliments and "omg, where did you buy that?!" comments - so you can imagine what kind of comments I received when I strutted my funky stuff in Musim's fantastic range of clothes!
My little Muism diamond, however, is the headphones. Recently released, I first heard of them from Linden Lifestyles weekly round up. Availble in a variety of patterns and colours, the headphones have been specially designed for DJ's across Second Life. They even come built with two different DJ animations!
Muism have also released a range of hairstyles fit for both men and women, as well as unisex styles. Bags and shoes are also available for the ladies, even male and female model poses and AO's... Muism has it all!
Don't fear guys - this fantastic store also caters extremely well for your gender too, with an awesome range of clothing and accessories designed to give the smart, classy and casual look. Unlike a most stores which do a large range of ladies wear but only a few of mens, Muism has made sure that they've provided products for both sexes alike on an equal basis.
So on a scale of 1 to 10 in style, price, and variety - I give this store a 20! ^.^

Even though the fantastic party at Southsea, home of PRim Designs & Lookr Fashions, went on till rather late in the night, the forever hard working Adam Soler, Lookr designer, was up early the next morning and working on his newest product - bags!

Adam was kind enough to drop one of these small delights on me half way through making them, to grab some feedback and advice - although there was no flaw or design blip with them at all, and looked absolutely marvelous on my AV!
Throughout the day Adam continued to work on a couple of other various designs which now include a beautiful selection of brown suede, blue denim and black patent (ooo shiny!), a combination that would work well with most casual and even formal outfits.
Each bag costs L$250, not too shabby at all considering the box you buy contains two versions of the bag, one with badges and one without! All bags have mod and copy rights, which enables you to change the badge pictures too for a little personal customisation ;)
So grab your purse and get on down to Southsea once more for the release of yet another fantastic product.

The day has finally arrived for PRim Designers Prad Prathivi & Rrishanna Regina, and Lookr Fashion Designer Adam Soler. They have been working tirelessly on their new sim, Southsea, for several months on building and developing their huge combined stores - and the opening is today!
PRim Designs is Second Life's next biggest and best interior design and prefab business, specialising in modern and contemporary furniture and buildings, the majority of which are the designers' personal designs. This fact alone gives a lot of the items they make a very unique feel of which no other designer in SL could compare to. The advantage they have here, and one which makes them both work so well together is Prad's RL architect degree and Rrish's keen and careful eye for detail and perfection. And did I mention they're SL brother and sister? ;)
Prad & Rrish also have a few other projects under their belt too, which they are gradually working on around getting their new sim built and open for the public. PRim Studios is the photography side the business, mainly specialising in avatar profile and modelling shots I believe. Prad's awesome work could make even the shabbiest of AV look absolutely stunning, and even if you're not interested in having any work done - the portfolio of his work so far is definately worth a look.
PRim Botanicals as far as I'm aware is a project which is still in the pipe line, but hasn't fully taken off just yet. I believe Prad & Rrish, with Botanicals, would like do to landscaping (terrain editting) and horticulture design - a lot of which Rrishanna already achieves through the custom prefabs for PRim Designs. It would be well worth keeping an eye out for the latest developments of Botanicals, particularly as I have no doubt it will be just as stunning as Designs and Studios.
Adam Soler is Second Life's next biggest fashion designer, his business, Lookr, already being a success. His work is varied between male and female, with an equal amount of items out on sale for both - he even has a great range of unisex clothing! Adam's creations consist of a variety of fashionable and well designed jeans, hoodies, shirts, vest tops, lingerie, dresses and accessories (such as his awesome shades), in a varied choice of rich and high quality textures and colours - a lot of his clothing suiting any mood and season.
With Prad Prathivi now becoming his partner, I have no doubt that Lookr will be a huge success at Southsea, with clothing to suit all types available for all!

Music entertainment in the form of live DJ's and maybe even musicians will be provided on the sim today, and the fun will be kicking off at roughly 10am SL time and going on until late in the evening. I believe a competition or two will be held as well, and I know I certainly will be there to marvel at the latest work of these three fantastic designers and friends.
See you there!

I have a number of friends that run their own Second Life blogs currently, particularly the rather well known and downright entertaining read that it Kittywitchin.com, created and written by Kitty O'Toole. She may not know it (yet), but she has for a long time inspired me to write my own blog, recording my adventures in Second Life.
I created this blog in December 2006 and did a few entries, although nothing fantastic and I soon lost interest. However over the past 18 months my Second Life has grown and blossomed enough for me to know what I'd be writing about now! Not just about my social life, which is how this journal first started out.
Soooooooo... a little about me!
In world I'm Aribeth Coronet. I'm mostly of neko race, although on occasion I like a change. During these changes I'm either human, a fairy or a furry... but this doesn't happen often at all! The neko race appeals to me greatly. I'm a huge cat lover, I own a cat in RL, and I generally enjoy watching a cats' mannerisms and have even more fun copying it in-world. To top this off there are some fantastic designers out there that have created and scripted ears and tails for nekos that are so versatile and fun to wear and watch.
Obviously the social and commercial aspect (shopping!) of Second Life appealed to me greatly, and I've built up some fantastic friendships... and a fantastic wardrobe to suit. But after awhile, like a lot of my friends, I began to explore more of what Second Life has to offer and soon, with help, began to learn how to build. Building takes time and determination to learn and master. And not just building, but texturing and scripting too. I began to build about this time last year, and have only just reached a point where I feel like I'm good enough to do something with it.
Retro Sheep Designs is an interior design and prefab store, selling themed furniture such as tiki and treehouse items, but also has a growing collection of modern and unique furniture. I created Retro Sheep about two-three months ago now, and have since took on a new business partner, my best friend Bailey Longcloth, and with her help we have been able to set up a store. The store itself is still under construction... well, half of the sim is! But we're determined to make something of it as soon as we can, and my items have already been a success on Second Life Exchange.
I became a resident of Second Life on November 19th 2006. After two weeks of hanging around a Welcome area, meeting and developing a fantastic friendship with Bailey Longcloth, I stumbled on a wedding whilst exploring. This was my first experience of a marriage in-world, and have since been invited to several others, even having my own! Although I didn't know the happy couple, they welcomed me and said I was able to sit through their ceremony to watch. The reception following was at a place called The Three Lions Pub.
At that point the Three Lions Pub had been open for four months. It had developed a small network of staff and regulars, all of whom openly greeted new residents very warmly - and it instantly became my new home. Eventually the owner, Phill Plasma, and all the staff and regulars became my family and friends, and I even got the opportunity to DJ. I've been providing music entertainment around Second Life since then for 18 months, and like with all hobbies and talents, you only get better with practise. I still enjoy to DJ, although sadly The Three Lions Pub closed in November 2007 and since then the atmosphere at my sets haven't been the same.
I met some fantastic people in SL, and developed friendships which have lasted since I first stumbled onto the pub 18 months ago. If it weren't for my friends and SL family, I doubt I would still be in-world today. And sometimes you can go one step further and let SL infiltrate into your RL, should you choose to do so. I did this on January 13th 2007 when I decided to meet a friend for real that had wandered into the pub whilst I was DJing one evening in December 2006. We shared similar interests in music to begin with, and after talking everyday for a month and realising there might be something more there than just a love for terrorising the residents of Second Life, HellSpawneD Xingjian drove 2 hours from Shropshire in the UK to come and see me in Nottingham, UK.
We had a lovely and very memorable first date. As soon as I met him when he picked me up from home I was instantly attracted, and despite the nerves we were both able to talk all day about anything and everything. We had a pub lunch at one of my favourite places, during which he held my hand, we talked... and I spilt food down my brand new white top I was wearing infront of him. I was mortified!
He pulled me in for a kiss, we drove some more to an estate park although we never really left the car! Since that day he visited more here, I went to see his family where he lived and then he moved in and found work in my area. We married in Second Life, and got engaged in RL.
On May 5th 2007 I discovered I was pregnant, and then on January 13th 2008, exactly a year after our first date, Seren Susie May was born at 8lbs 8oz.
Not everyone looks for love in Second Life. I know I certainly joined with an open mind and didn't really think of the possibility that I could meet my future fiance and father of (one of) my daughters. But Ben was there, he met my eldest daughter from my previous relationship and they have both gotten along famously since we've been together. My eldest very much looks to Ben as a father figure now for when her own dad can't be around, and in turn he treats her like his own.
So that's my Second Life story and past so far! This blog will mostly be used for fashion, business and photography whoring - but I hope it'll make an entertaining read.
